Reflexology for Fertility

Back to Reflexology

Can reflexology really help with infertility?
Infertility can be an emotionally exhausting, not to mention expensive, condition. But according to a growing number of people, the key to overcoming the problem for many couples could be far simpler than they think - thanks to reflexology. An increasing number of women claim this popular type of foot massage has helped them conceive.

Now a medical study has been launched to discover if the claims are true. The latest research, a two-year clinical trial at the IVF unit at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, England is the brainchild of reflexologist Jane Holt. She approached the unit after 13 of the 23 women she treated with a range of fertility problems fell pregnant.

Many women and men seek help these days while trying to conceive. What may appear to be a natural and obvious process in the life of human beings is actually an issue that worries many couples worldwide on a daily basis. According to the statistics, one third of all cases of failure to conceive are due to unknown causes.

Maternity Reflexology can do a lot for you by helping you to cope with the stress that this situation can cause and by helping to promote a positive reaction in your body. From day to day, we hear about more and more cases where Reflexology has been helpful in treating difficult conditions like non-regular periods, PCOS, low sperm count, and other conditions. The rate of couples who become pregnant after having tried Reflexology grows every day.

Reflexology is very effective at re-balancing hormone levels. I have undertaken additional reflexology training relating to fertility and I use a number of subtle techniques, aimed specifically at re-balancing the endocrine system, which is responsible for controlling our hormonal levels. I also use additional techniques to balance the reproductive systems.
Reflexology can be very helpful to deal with both female and male conditions:
